I bought the "Endeavour" in 1991 and she wouuld have made a better seive than boat. You could actually stand outside the boat and see inside through the rot holes.  She had been on a cradle for 10+ years, but before that she had served as a Cost Gaurd Auxillary patrol boat. 

Never having been one to shy away from a challenge and with my "Potential" gland going nuts, I dove in and made the purchase.

Two years later she was seaworthy, not done, but seaworthy.  She was launched in 1993, just in time for the Flood of the Century on the MIssissippi.  Has she not been able to float, she would have been lost forever.

The Christ Craft Commuter was used to shuttle commuters from Here to There, primarily on the Great Lakes.  She has the classic bull nose design, twin 105hp engines, and is crafted from gorgeous mahagony wood.
